Description & Ingredients

Oregano oil, pre-diluted and ready to use, in a 1 FL OZ (30 mL) dropper bottle. This is a 25% oil blend: 25% oregano oil (Origanum vulgare) in 75% olive oil (Olea europaea), which means it comes ready to use straight from the dropper with no carrier oil to measure or mix yourself. In Spanish it is known as aceite de oregano.

What is inside

Two ingredients. That is the entire list.

  • Olive Oil (Olea europaea)
  • Oregano Oil (Origanum vulgare)

No fillers, no additives, no synthetic carriers. The oregano oil is CO2 extracted from dried oregano leaves, a method that uses pressurised carbon dioxide instead of chemical solvents.

Why it comes pre-diluted

Undiluted oregano oil is strong, and most sources tell you to blend it into a carrier oil yourself before use, which means guessing at ratios every time. Ours is already blended at 25% in olive oil, which means you skip that step and get the same consistent blend from every drop.

Quality and sourcing

Our herbs are organic or wildcrafted depending on the harvest. This oil is third party tested for identity, microbials and heavy metals, so what the label says is what is in the bottle. Country of origin is Germany. Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a difference between oil of oregano and oregano oil?
Most shops and shoppers use the two names interchangeably, and so do we. Both refer to oil taken from the oregano plant. What actually matters is the strength and the carrier, and ours states both on the front of the bottle: a 25% oregano oil blend in olive oil.

Do I need to mix this with a carrier oil first?
No. It is already pre-diluted in olive oil at 25% and is ready to use as it comes. There is nothing to measure and nothing to blend.

Is oregano alkaline?
Oregano is one of the herbs counted among alkaline foods in the alkaline eating tradition, which is why it sits in this shop alongside our other alkaline oils. We describe it that way because that is how the tradition classifies it.

How is this oregano oil made?
The oregano oil is CO2 extracted from dried oregano leaves, then blended into olive oil to a 25% strength. CO2 extraction uses pressurised carbon dioxide rather than chemical solvents, and the finished oil is third party tested for identity, microbials and heavy metals.
