Vegan Pastry Cream

INGREDIENTS: 

1 cup chickpea flour
1 cup approved milk
1 cup spring water
½ cup maple syrup
2 tbsp vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a pan add all the ingredients. Mix well. Turn heat to low, stirring until thick. Store in a jar, you may use this as custard for tarts or pies.
