Pickled Onions

1 cup onions | chopped thinly
2 cups hot spring water
1 cup key lime juice
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tbsp agave syrup | optional


In a bowl, add the onions and the hot water. Let soak for 15 minutes and drain. Add the key lime juice and the rest of the ingredients. Transfer to an airtight jar and let sit for at least 24 hours. Then enjoy with your favorite meals.
