How To Make Elderberry Syrup

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup dried elderberries
¼ cup ginger root
4 cups spring water
⅓ cup date syrup

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a pot, add the dried elderberries, ginger root and spring water.

Bring to a boil then simmer for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, strain, then set aside to cool.

When cool, add the date syrup, mix well and use when needed.

Refrigerate in an airtight glass container for up to 3 weeks.
